Remembering Thomas Storey, M.D., MPH

The Health Federation of Philadelphia community is deeply saddened by the passing of longtime Board member and dear friend and colleague, Dr. Thomas Storey, M.D., MPH.  Dr. Storey served as the Director of Ambulatory Health Services for the City of Philadelphia Department of Public Health.  He was elected to the Health Federation Board of Directors in 2003, and, in his role, supported the advancement of the Health Federation's mission to improve access to and quality of health and human services for underserved and vulnerable populations. Through his work, Dr. Storey bettered the lives, health, and well-being of generations of Philadelphians. "Dr. Storey was a generous colleague who freely shared his knowledge with me and other colleagues around our table. He became a friend to many of us who enjoyed his humor and benefited from his wisdom. We lost a good man and the loss feels very personal," shared Health Federation of Philadelphia CEO Natalie Levkovich.
